Dr Edin Lakasing MBChB MRCS LRCP DCH DRCOG MRCGP PGCertEd
Edin was educated at Latymer Upper School, Hammersmith, and qualified in Medicine from the University of Dundee in 1990. After House Officer posts in Dundee and Swindon, he trained in general practice at Watford General Hospital and on the Oxford Regional Vocational Training Scheme. He became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 1996 and joined the Chorleywood practice in 1997. He is a full-time partner whose main interests are medical education, audit, diabetes care, minor surgery and psychology.
He has published several papers, mainly on medical and nursing education and health service development. He is a GP tutor to University College & Royal Free Hospital, London, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, a member of the Watford Trainer's Group and of the National Primary Care Collaborative. He is single and lives in Stanmore.
