Professor Russell Wynn Jones MBBCh, MRCGP Dr Russell Jones

Russell was born and educated in Edinburgh and graduated from the Welsh National School of Medicine in 1972. After hospital posts in Cardiff and London, he became a partner in the Chorleywood practice in 1976. He has a long-standing interest in medical research and has published numerous papers on cardiology, medical informatics and the application of information technology to healthcare. In 2002 he was appointed Associate Professor of Medical Informatics at Brunel University.

He is a member of the Professional Executive Committee of the Watford and Three Rivers PCT, the Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire Local Medical Committee, a member and past chairman of the Hertfordshire Local Research Ethics Committee and previously served on the Hertfordshire Medical Audit Advisory Group. He has been Senior Partner since 1992. He is married to a surgeon and has a grown-up family.

Dr Edin Lakasing MBChB MRCS LRCP DCH DRCOG MRCGP PGCertEd

Dr Edin Lakasing Edin was educated at Latymer Upper School, Hammersmith, and qualified in Medicine from the University of Dundee in 1990. After House Officer posts in Dundee and Swindon, he trained in general practice at Watford General Hospital and on the Oxford Regional Vocational Training Scheme. He became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 1996 and joined the Chorleywood practice in 1997. He is a full-time partner whose main interests are medical education, audit, diabetes care, minor surgery and psychology.

He has published several papers, mainly on medical and nursing education and health service development. He is a GP tutor to University College & Royal Free Hospital, London, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, a member of the Watford Trainer's Group and of the National Primary Care Collaborative. He is single and lives in Stanmore.

Dr Sadhana Kulkarni

Dr Sadhana Kulkarni MBBS DCH DFFP

Sadhana qualified from St George's Hospital, London in 1987. During her training for general practice she gained experience in casualty, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics and care of the elderly and completed her postgraduate training in 1994. She spent several years in community paediatrics where she ran child development clinics and was a school doctor for the St Albans area.

She is a full-time partner with interests in child health and women's health including contraceptive coil insertion. She is the named doctor for child protection in the practice and clinical lead for children's services for Watford and Three Rivers Primary Care Trust. She is married with two children.

Dr Katy Hecker

Dr Katy Hecker MBBS MRCGP DRCOG

Katy qualified from University College / Middlesex Hospital in 1986. Following House Officer posts at University College Hospital and Kettering General Hospital, she trained in accident and emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics and care of the elderly in London. She also worked in a Marie Curie hospice in Hampstead and in the oncology unit at Royal Free Hospital before becoming a general practitioner.

She was a full-time GP in North London for 9 years before moving to Amersham with her family. She joined the Chorleywood practice in 2005 and holds five surgeries per week.
